Having started their activities in the Summer of 2014, the mission of I Promised Once was to create a fresh approach to the international Metalcore scene. Having members from Germany as well as Japan with different music backgrounds including Electronic Music, Visual Kei, Rock & Death Metal, we decided to go for a global sound by integrating catchy guitar riffs, hard-hitting breakdowns with synthesizer elements. The songwriting has evolved to the next level and every track on this EP has its unique appeal. All of this is supported by twin vocalists who incorporate shouts as well as clean vocals to add to the intricate layers of each of the 7 songs on our second EP "Dust To Dust", the follow-up to our well received debut EP "New Blood". To support the release of this EP, I Promised Once will embark on a national tour in Japan followed by their first headliner tour in Europe during June of 2016. Don't miss out on this band!
