Elizabeth Hungerford and Andrew Arceci have performed together throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. With ideas stemming from the lyra viol tradition, Arceci manipulates the viol to act as both a lute and second voice to "clarion" soprano Elizabeth Hungerford (Washington Post). Using a "lovely tone" with "dramatic impulses" (New York Times), Arceci's inventive playing negates the need for additional instruments.

Tailoring repertoire from the Renaissance and early Baroque periods to accommodate the voice and viola da gamba, the CD brings to life new incarnations of old music.
