Blaze’s Klubhead mixes are powerfully life-affirming, laying the funk on thick by layering bright percussion over a wandering guitar-led bassline, but it’s Mousse T.’s mixes that do the real damage here. Lead by a thunderous bassline offset with warm, Rhodes-y chords, this is fiercely confident club music that would hold its own in any house set played today.
