New soul artist Jeremy Jackson's debut album, Life Stories, is due this spring, but he isn't waiting for its release to make his mark in the music industry. The first two singles off of his album, "Winner" and "Stay," show that this multi-talented artist may be around for a while. Jackson, who was born and raised in Oklahoma City, began singing in church. A singer, songwriter, and producer, he is influenced by Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye James Brown, Dave Hollister, and a few more R & B/ Soul artists. "Winner" and "Stay" both have a old school soul feel, which makes way for very good music. His voice is richly displayed in the singles. Listening to the singles leave you wanting for more, so his album will be sure to please. With a style that can be described as a mixture of Maxwell and Dave Hollister, Jeremy Jackson is on his way to being the next hot artist. While his music is reminiscent of other artists in his genre, Jackson's style is definitely his own. Be on the look out for his album, Life Stories, this spring.
