Growing up in Southwest Louisiana, Jana had a \"gumbo\" of musical influences:zydeco, country, and rock were all popular and are evident in her debut, self titled CD \"Jana Seantelle.\" You can hear the mournful traditionalism in her first single \"Memphis to Momma,\" as well as the rockin\' Cajun dynamic of \"Gyspy Train\" along with the heavy guitar riffs of \"South of Lonesome.\" Although this disc has only six cuts, they are all heavily in tune with the human spirit exercising all emotions. \"Memphis to Momma\" is currently available for digital download, and the entire album anticipates a mid to late July \'08 release date.
