With influences in every genre from jazz and blues to Christian rock and country, its no wonder that Ina Williams' sound is ever-evolving. For Ina it has always been about lyrics. "I don't really care how you say it so long as what you're saying is worth listening to." Her debut album "Masterpiece" (also available on cdbaby.com), is a gumbo of jazz, r&b, soul, and gospel, with insightful and moving lyrics that are reminiscent of Anita Baker. Her newest project “Before”, is an alternative and folk mix with stirring and pensive prose.

Deeply influenced by her Christian faith, Ina's quest for "a life worth living" is apparent in every song. Whether she is singing about a crush, heartbreak, or simply existing in a heartbreaking world, Ina's songs are full of hope, humor, and heartfelt openness. She says of her new album "Before";
