The first solo release from Smokingroove's own Monsafe see's him taking a more minimalist approach with this dark, broody number. The drums roll up with an almost military mood, the main riff keeps everything flowing with a Japanese(ish) sensibility and the clarity of the finished production let you know that he knows what he's doing in the studio. With it's haunting vibe and 4am-type overall feel, this new musical direction looks like a winner for the London-born producer. First up on remix duties is Bahrain-born, GDR artist SALAH SADEQ, who pumps some extra musical mystery into his version, making the total package a bit more open-planned. His personal taste in eclectic, techno elements bring a cool, techy vibe to his version perfectly. Next up is the uber-talented duo LEE ROZ come together to turn in a remix that fuses their abstract musical ideas and the direction of the original to finish of the triple-whammy package in fine style. Decidedly more House than the other versions, they bring something to the table that no one else does.
