2011 saw a return to the studio and three new recordings for the IT'S MY PARTY! girls. The maxi-single includes the title track “Wanna Make Him Mine,” a Steve Duboff song performed in the spirit of the '60s girl group, The Emeralds, whose fine version was originally recorded on Jubilee Records. "Dear Michelle (the Fighting's Begun)" is a Shangri-las inspired track that harkens images of two people in love, separated by war. The third track is an IT’S MY PARTY! fan-favorite “Bus Driver,” which always draws a positive response at live performances.
