Leesa Sklover-Filgate, Ph.D. www.smalluniverseproductions.com, is a performing songwriter/composer, vocalist, psychologist, music therapist and shamanic healer who has brought the world of “humanimal” musical communication together with song and chant honoring and influenced by Native American, Buddhist, Kundalini, Kabbalah influences in her ORCA CHANTRESS BELUGA SHAMAN CD This is her 4th CD and second for healing and inspiration, ideal for yoga, meditation, journey work, blessed listening. As healer musician, she combines the world of ecopsychology, spiritual psychology, music therapy, integrative/healing medicine, interspecies musical communication with whales, dolphins, birds, wolves, and her interest in helping the lone Belugas in Canada. She worked on this project with producer, interspecies music/ cestacean ambassador, Jim Nollman( interspecies.com) who provided the recordings of animal communing with him for this production. Leesa has been written up in many national magazines-media and presented as an influence in sound and music therapy, bringing it to the forefront of the spa industry during her 12 years at Canyon Ranch Spa-Lenox/ and healing work throughout the country in multi media presentations. Orca Chantress Beluga Chantress aims to both soothe and inspire. Each piece is unique, some an inspirational song, and other chants meant for journey work, entrainment, trance. This CD is a culmination of her life’s work, bringing many healing concepts together, through musical creativity and transcendent style. She brings experience communing with whales, dolphins and dogs, telepathic- nonlocality, research, neuropsychotherapy studies (creating a musical language for humans in need) to this unique work. She manifests the creation of sympathetic resonance in a multidimensional world.

Her best selling, Optiself, science and sound for the soul was geared for sleep and meditation work and has been written up in cosmopolitan and many papers as a soothing agent to get the sleep weary, dreaming again. She has written a musical off broadway in NYC at the Cherry Lane Theare, 2005 called Mother Me Therapy, which has a cd of her performance and music and the CD, Samurai of her original soulful folk tunes that tell her many stories of love, healing and longing.
