With the places... is my first ever attempt at a medley, having grown up loving side two of "Abbey Road"! I thought that after nearly ten years of making music, it as about time i had a go!!. The main theme of the piece came about from one day humming a melody and a few words into my dictaphone, i really liked this and thought it would be nice to write a complete musical journey through my influences and vision of what music i really like to make, this is the result, so in the tune come pure beatlesque moments " Pt3 chasing blue skies", early Pink floyd "pt 6 Lovin' " and power pop, indie, classic rock all mashed into what hopefully has become a seamless ride to enjoy time and time again.
