Although he primary practices law, he has continued writing instrumentals and songs. Connie Mims has been a songwriter, performer, studio vocalist since 1973. In 2009, she was awarded "Singer/Songwriter of the Year", by the Academy of Texas Music. She has recorded numerous CD's, including her latest release "Gettin' There."
