Magic Jack is a magician, songster, and clown. He calls his clown character, Jafa the Magical Minstrel. Two songs on the album, "I'm a Magical Minstrel", and "Do the Jafa Jump" refer directly to this character. He has been performing for over 30 years to the delight of children of all ages. All songs were written and copyrighted by Magic Jack, the arrangement of the music was done by Cyrus Chestnut, and the background vocals were provided by Alaka Bhatt and Lynn Rudman.
