Jarrell "Lucky" Murray was born on November 8, 1988 in Columbia, SC. Jarrell goes by the stage name LC . He grew up with the sounds of R and B and Rap from the 80s and 90s. This developed his interest for music. In the early 2000s, LC received his first hip hop cassette tape titled Bigger and Deffer (BAD) by LL Cool J. His mother's gift became the influence to LC's dream of becoming a hip hop artist. In 2003, LC began freestyling and writing verses. Two short years later, LC wrote and recorded his first song with fellow rapper C. Drew entitled Try Me. LC and his group, Metro Boys, released a self-titled group demo in 2007. Killen Em Softly is LC's first solo release album with the hit singles "So Hard" and "Rehab." LC's hope is that this album will introduce you to a new and positive hip hop sound!
