Written to address the dark forces at work in my home and to loved ones obeying those spiritual forces. It came together in a stark living room that I had started remodeling in hopes that a move of God would shine His light on these dark things, chase them out and paint a new picture. At the time the wallpaper had been stripped off, the carpet removed, drapes taken down, and some furniture pitched out. I sat there one night on a folding chair intending to put together a blues rocker but then opted for a simple folkish thing. It was as far from original as I cared to get, but something about it felt really good.
