Songwriter/singer/musician, Kawika Kahiapo has been gracing the music scene with his award-winning artistry in the islands for nearly 40 years. You can't miss his unique slack key style, combined with his velvety voice. He has won numerous Na Hoku Hanohano awards for three of his CD's, and even has a Grammy Award under his belt for his song addition to the Masters of Hawaiian Slack Key CD, vol. II. His unique style comes from being mentored by Gabby Pahinui, and his love for Earl Klugh music. He has performed and recorded with such legends as Jack Johnson, Kaukahi, Palani Vaughan Melveen Leed, Brother Noland and Amy Hanaiali'i Gilliom.

Serving Ke Akua and others are a priority, and is reflected in Kawika's lifestyle and music. "Love for the islands, it's people, `ohana, and Ke Akua (God), are what inspires him, while staying committed to perpetuating Hawaiian music, the culture, and the the art of ki-ho`alu".
