The story behind my single 'Frame of Mind' is that I was thinking of how to put my life into a song and give the listeners something to relate to. I treat my listeners/fans like my close friends so that they get a glimpse of what my life is like in my own words. Not many people will know this but I take on two alter egos on this song: 'CM17 Sho Sho' is the rapper who is mostly on a negative vibe. He talks about his anger, self-awareness and the hard things in life he had to deal with like his childhood. 'Michaelangelo Kudo' is the singer who almost acts like a storyteller on this song because he tries to put both sides of the story into musical perspective. I feature a Kenyan artist by the name of Young Sharpy who I felt was right for the track because he puts the political twist on this song and for me personally talks about major issues going on over in Kenya that he felt should be discussed. This song is an eye-opener and makes YOU realise that as music artists, we have our fair share of past experiences that hurt and I decided to put this in a song.
