The most important factor melding these cats together is that they are all friends committed to making real music without pretension. This 9 person collection of groovosity enjoys having fun and doing it with style. Thanks for taking the time to get to know us better. Charlie St.CyrPaul (drums) The Diggers co-founder (writer and arranger) and drummer has toured world-wide since his teenage years playing, leading and producing music of all styles. He formed The Diggers to simply make real music with real friends that share the passion of getting a groove on. Other than playing drums, Charlie enjoys his awesome family, triathlons and creating in his production studio. www.Studio3Orlando.com Jim Rhinehart (keys) Jim, The Diggers co-founder (writer and arranger) and keyboardist, is an actual doctor—of music—but he just likes to play the piano. He is a composer who makes his own bacon and sausage. He thinks the world would be a much better place if people would just lighten up—just a bit. www.rhinehartmusic.com Rohan Reid (bass) Bass player on Vol 1. In the Jamaican vernacular, "must bus" means something that will inevitably break out—and that's how Rohan Reid, one of the most gifted musicians from Jamacia , and his bass playing can be described. More than just a bass player, Rohan is very strong guitar, piccolo, and banjo player. With a smile on his face and a heart of gold, Rohan always makes the groove feel right!!! Robert Wawoe (bass) Bass Bad A** with ears of gold. That describes this musician/music producer from Curaçao. Robert is a first call producer-engineer in the South East who also loves to get out and rock stages without regret. As you can see in the band photos, he is typically known as the best looking guy in the group. John Paul (guitar) The New England legendary guitarist John Paul (brother of Founder Charlie) is featured on several of Vol. 1 tracks. This multi-fascited composer/guitarist/multi-instrumentalist has proven to be one of the country's best guitarists through reputation and competition. John's infections musical heartbeat is felt on every stage he takes and fills the room up with joy hours after the show is over. As John states himself…. "It's a joy to break musical bread with friends". John currently owns and operate "john Paul's Incredible School of Music" & the full service production facility "The Nut House". Ash Jangda (guitar) Ash Jangda's broad musical scope has afforded him the privilege of collaborating with an eclectic group of today's influential and relevant musicians across multiple genres including but not limited to Hip Hop Giant Wyclef Jean and Platinum Producers The Runners, Jazz Virtuosos Arturo Sandoval and Michael Brecker, and Gospel Icons Fred Hammond and Israel Houghton. Ash brings his laid personality forward with his writing contributions and and no worries attitude. Sam Zambito (trumpet) Sam was a band leader at Walt Disney World for years. He now travels world wide as a clinician, educator and sought after studio and big band section player. Sam's unique personality and one of a kind sense of humor makes Sam one of the nicest guys to be with on and off stage, Tom Dietz (sax) Tom currently serves as Professor of Saxophone Studies at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and Professor of Jazz Saxophone Studies at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. When Tom is not The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, The New Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, George Shearing, Neil Swainson, Louis Bellison, Randy Brecker, Nat Adderley, Marcus Printup, Branford Marsalis, James Moody, Sam Rivers, Carl Fontana, Phil Wilson, John Moak, John Allred, Wayne Bergeron, Brian Bromberg, and Andy Martin Corey Paul (trombone) Currently a student studying Jazz trombone, Corey brings a playful spirit and youthful energy to the horn section. He loves to hang and always is ready to groove hard. Jason Herold & Kane Hurlock (percussionists) These are two fabulous percussionists and friends that are sought out by much of Central Florida. These guys are beautiful people with a love for the groove. It just always feels good having these guys around. DJLV dj LV is the epitome of an industry veteran. With more than 23 years as a DJ and over 10 years as a producer, he is well-versed in Hip Hop, R&B, Top 40, House, Reggae, Rock, Old School classics and some Salsa in between to keep it interesting. LV is always creating new ways to elevate your mind and your ears by taking music to the next level. Clearly there's no sign of dj LV slowing down as he propels himself forward to break new sound barriers in the world of music.
