R. Patrick Evans

R. Patrick Evans is furious with love as his pseudonym “F.w. Love” indicates. As passionate as he is eloquent, his spoken word poetry has been on the Memphis scene since 2001. He has participated in numerous poetry slams in the Mid-South area, and named winner of the Common Ground (Memphis, TN) and three time winner of Poets in the Street (Little Rock, AR) poetry slams. In 2005, he released his debut CD, Conversations In Love that not only showcases his talents as a poet, but validates his voice as one of the future leaders against the socioeconomic injustices of our world. He is also the founder of Live.Seed, an organization that implements creative programs for teens. In his spare time, he is a freelance speechwriter, ghostwriter for local recording artists and proud father. He is originally from the great state of Mississippi (Hattiesburg), but currently, resides in Memphis, TN.
