This album is the best group of songs that I have ever produced. The inspiration that prompted this creation was a gift and a blessing. It is miles above anything else that I have recorded. I am extremely grateful to the four ladies who help make these songs as moving as they are. They are Lara Smith, Christina Martin Mikalbo, Ami Dismukes and Kathy Dumont. Lara's poignant soulful voice adds a soul-calling quality that is sure to move anyone who has a pulse. The first time I heard her sing I knew I wanted her on my CD. She performs on four songs; three with harmony and one duet. Christina is the ultimate harmonizer, with a beautiful strong voice that has created a wall of sound that immediately gives the songs she sings a radio-ready quality. She does three songs; two harmonies and one duet. Ami's gentle and beautiful voice adds a quality to the title song "Someone Who Loves You" that is like an echo of spirit itself. And Kathy's contribution is immense. On the two R+B songs she does, she reaches deep into her soul to rock the house. On the only two songs on the album that venture into other territories than R+B, she uses her classically trained voice and strong understanding of harmonies to create something special. On the Cuban Bolero style "A Circle of Love Around You" and the praise style "After the Storm", her voice creates an ambiance to the very sincere words of the songs that elevates the lyrics to another level. I dedicate this labor of love to my wife, sweetheart and friend,Deborah. In particular, I dedicate the songs" Love Like the Blood in My Veins" and "Precious Love" to her. For my daughter Cindy, I dedicate" A Circle of Love Around You"." Love Teacher" is dedicated to Elaine Langley for her tireless work to aid the people in the New Orleans area.
