简介
Saskia has much success as a 90's pop star in Canada and starring in the Broadway musicals Rent and The Lion King. Now a proud mother of two, Saskia wanted to instill in her kids a love for music, while finding clever ways to make their lives easier. This inspired her current venture "All in a Day’s Play", a fun and quirky CD taking listeners through a day in the life of a young child struggling with lisping, waking and bedtime battles, potty training, thumb sucking, brushing teeth etc., all set to infectious melodies and lyrics in a variety of musical genres including Reggae, Bossa Nova, Big Band, Tango, 80s Rock, lush lullabies and more. Interspersed with little ditties to help kids learn the basics, the songs are so catchy even parents will enjoy them again and again and again...you won’t mind if you get them stuck in your head! To my husband Steven who gave me the encouragement to finish this album when I thought it would never happen and for believing in me always. I love you. To Tristan and Micaiah, for whom I do everything. Thanks for being featured on this album. You make every day worth living and raising you both never feels like work....always play, play, play. To my family, Matt, Joanna, Jordan, Bronson and Trenton, thanks for your input, for being a sounding board and for the great videos Jo :) Mi love unoo like cook food...oh and boys, some of these songs were written for you specifically. You know which ones! LOL.... To Dizzle (DAO), it has been a long haul but we pulled it off! Thanks for your creative genius. It was a pleasure working with you and having you as a friend means the world to our family.
