Lets not forget the times I would get to sit and listen to music at my best friend Chris's house. We would listen to his mom's Garth, Reba, Merle, and Cash records in between running around day after day in the neighborhood learning the sounds of summer and the chill of the falling Oregon rain. So many great friends that shaped my laughter and toughened me with kind honesty. Teachers that found a way to give me tools that I still use today. Family that raised me in a ever changing world for a young man. A mom that gave every ounce of her time and love to the boy she still believes in. The journey to the Emerald City to learn from some of the world's greatest musical minds only to find that not all of us are ready to learn lessons when the right lessons are given. From an experience of communication through music and imagination gave a sound and a voice to what spills out today and the decision that led me to you. So much of this album is a lot like my life, knowing extremely well that with out my past I find no future and have no love. But to each and every person that has touched my life or has changed my direction with a word or a hug, you gave this to me and all I want to do is give it back! God has a way of giving us choices to make every day but if we understand that it is His will that will be done we have no fear of finding the right path to take He will lead us there! I am so blessed to have such an amazing support in my life starting with my beautiful and amazing wife Sheila. The very second you come into my life I knew God sent me you to show me life can be good and perfect even in the biggest of storms. Thank you for being my understanding rock through all of this and all that is still to come! To my very best friends whom without you I could not even get this off the ground. God knows where we are going and how we're getting there. Cheers to the ride! To Ebbert, the father of time and tempo. I'll never forget the bus stop, it still makes me laugh. You are the type of drummer every vocalist loves to sing with. You know our feel, you get our randomness, and you keep us in check! Lets hope I can jam with you for the rest of my days. Gotta love Leftys! Blake Bachman, DUDE YOU ARE THE BEST SECRET IN NASHVILLE!!!! - Woops I better hush. Your West Coast Blood runs the same as mine and I know that's why we were meant to make this music. Our shows are just that much better with your guitar pickin hands. You have an amazing soul and and huge heart. Cheers to the best of things to come! I want to thank the other players on this record that I have the honor of making sweet music with. Demetri Moon - Fiddle You came, you jammed, you conquered! The Gun intro is a passionate set up to an emotional tune. Not to mention all of the other tasty licks you gave to this project! I can't wait to make more of them! Steve Byrnes - Guitar You are as close as it gets to having a brother without actually going through the growing up together part, some would say I get the best parts. And when you laid your hands on that axe to carve out a river of greatness on this record I knew we were gonna make some amazing tunes together. Keep the dream going! Bri Blaire - Backup Vocals (Featured on Just What You Do To Me) Sometimes you encounter a person and you just fit! I still think of the day on the water as the day I met not only a new great person but a must have friend. Your voice will leave a delicate memory on these tunes and someday we'll be doing this again. Can't wait! Michael Vecchio - Engineer/Producer/Bottles You were amazing to work with. It's such a great feeling knowing where I come from and how you gave me these abilities even if you couldn't do it in person. But now you get to see just as I do!
