A couple of years ago I felt that it was time to get back to my songs and do something with them. I looked through many songs that I had written over many years, and I did a lot of re-writing, fine tuning, coming up with arrangement ideas, etc. Two long-time music buddies, David Vasquez (keyboard) and Jeff Lewis (brass), have a studio and I went in and started laying down tracks. David and Jeff are both excellent players, fun guys, and great to work with. The three of us covered guitars, drums, multiple keyboards, trumpet, flugel horn and valve trombone, and I used four additional musicians - Dean Roubicek (tenor sax, flute), Denis LaPron (tenor sax), Esteban Jimenez (French horn), and Sean Stewart (cello). The project grew very organically; it's been a great journey and I'm happy with the results. Please listen and see what you think.
