Kate and Dave are a London based acoustic duo with a common love of mandolins and the whole range of things you can do with them! Kate trained as a classical musician and is a relatively new face on the London acoustic scene. Dave (and his hats) will be a more familiar figure to those who have been involved in Irish Trad or Bluegrass gigs and sessions. They have been playing together since they met in September 2014.

'outside.' is a a reflection of their first year of writing arranging and recording together. It is also a trip through some of the different types of music they enjoy and create including acoustic blues, 1920's jazz and traditional folk. It is very much an acoustic album of songs and tunes featuring the mandolin and mandola playing of Kate with Dave on additional mandolin, guitars, dobro, banjo and ukulele.
