Blaine Larsen is a country music artist based in Nashville, TN who is known for his rich voice, traditional style and thoughtful lyrics. He was raised in the Pacific Northwest and fell in love with country music at a young age. Blaine began to perform locally at the age of 14 and By the time he was 18 he signed a recording contract with BNA Records and released his first single, “How Do You Get That Lonely,” which became a top twenty hit on the country charts and catapulted him into the forefront of the music industry. Blaine went on to release three albums for BNA Records and Treehouse Records between 2004 and 2011. During that time he garnered eight top-40 singles. Blaine is also known for his ability as a songwriter. He co-wrote George Strait’s hit, “Gotta Get To You,” and has had his songs recorded by Mark Chestnut and Matt Caldwell. He has toured nationally opening shows for Kenny Chesney, Gretchen Wilson, Blake Shelton, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Little Big Town, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson, Joe Nicols, Bill Engvall, and many others in venues from barrooms to football stadiums. Currently, Blaine is a full-time staff member with Search Nashville, a non-profit organization that specializes in creating safe places for people to bring their questions and doubts about God and life. It was through a small-group study offered by Search Nashville on Music Row that Blaine began to explore his questions about the existence of God and how a person could have a relationship with him. Through this study, Blaine became a follower of Jesus Christ. In 2012, Blaine decided to transition into full-time ministry with Search Nashville in order to give other people the opportunity to ask their questions about God in a safe, non-threatening environment. He spends most of his days meeting with people one-on-one and in smalls groups, asking questions and exploring answers to life’s most important questions. In 2013 he decided to pursue theological training at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he is currently working towards a Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership. They have three children, Zoe (8), and Noble (5), and Chasen (newborn).
