Started in 2011, The Substance is a reggae/ rock group out of York, PA located in south central Pennsylvania. Heavily influenced by bands like Sublime, Slightly Stoopid and Pepper, The Substance has just finished recording their highly anticipated "First Batch EP". With their inaugural CD complete The Substance is now concentrating on spreading their music and good vibes anywhere and everywhere possible. From packing local bars to playing large regional venues with nationally touring bands like Ballyhoo!, The Expendables, Iration and Passafire, The Substance looks to make a name for themselves in the rapidly growing reggae/ rock scene.
