简介
With their second release, "Easier Said Than Done," A Month of Sundays reinforces their position as a straightforward rock and roll band, evidenced on tracks like “Reasons.” But the band also proves that they are at their best when rocking a bit less. “What’s Behind the Door?” jumps out at the listener by utilizing acoustic guitar and guest vocalist Laura Tsaggarris. The song, though more of a country tune than the rest of the album, is catchy and well constructed, artfully accentuated with harmonica and piano. This is again the case with “New Town Girl,” which prominently features cello and horn parts. These two tunes allow vocalist Ed Moreland more space to emote than some of the other electric guitar laced efforts. At moments like these, A Month of Sundays truly shines.
