Songwriter and country singer Caitlin Ward was born on November 26, 1990 in the small farming village of Rupert Quebec. She began writing her own songs at age four, and made her stage debut at age seven at a local fair. While growing up in Rupert, she honed her songwriting abilities and taught her self how to play several instruments, including the guitar, piano, and violin. Caitlin performed at local venues, and competed in numerous singing contests, and gained notoriety thanks to her stylistic renditions on YouTube.

In 2015 she self-released five singles, and released her highly anticipated full album "The Young" June 2016.
