The single highlights female empowerment through the gaze of the German/UK duo’s unique take on 80’s synth pop and alternative R&B. A mix between trap, synth pop, and alternative R&B, “Lone Wolf” is one of the more moodier tracks from the duo. Vocals washed in reverb, demanding “I want what I came for,” the track flips the gender stereotypes on their heads, creating a space where women can be comfortable asking for what they want.
