Wildhart began in January of 2013, a couple of years after Nick, Nathaniel, and Jake had met each other at Texas State University. Each member brings something unique to the band, creating a sound full of rich harmony, infectious melody, lush guitar riffs, and a beat so tight and groovy that no one in their right mind could resist moving their body and shouting until they drop dead. Consequently, Wildhart doesn't have much of a fan base, as each new fan they gain soon drops dead. Their sound has been compared to the likes of Coldplay, U2, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Killers, Jack's Mannequin, and even Journey. "Aftermath" is a lyric-focused, piano-driven, guitar-backed, and drum-filled epic about becoming a beast after dark, wreaking havoc in the night, and waking up wishing none of it had ever happened.
