The Brooklyn Folk Festival is an annual 3 day event, held in Brooklyn, NY. It was started in 2009 by music producer Eli Smith in partnership with the Jalopy Theatre and School of Music. The festival features a traditionally oriented cross section of American and world folk music, including blues, old time string bands, jug band music, gospel and spirituals, Irish, Balkan, Mexican, African, Indonesian and Indian music, songwriters, country music, bluegrass and more...
