I, Double Z, am a bassist/ vocalist/ multi-instrumentalist/ producer/songwriter and arranger.I've been hailed as one of the *funkiest* bassplayaz around! And... I've been around for a while. I've toured with such artist as D-Train, Grand Masrer Melle Mel and the Furious Five, Al.B Sure,Issac Hayes,Natalie Cole,Eugene Wilde, Kid Creole and the CoCo Nuts,and currently I tour with 80's pop star- Taylor Dayne.I had my first single released on Warner Bros. Records in 1988 called*Bored To Tears* followed by my 15 cut album*In Z Mood*released on Qwest/Reprise records circa 1992.

I was signed to Warner Bros. Records because I could do what Prince was doing- all instruments,all vocals, producing and arranging only I was a *girl *residing in New York!

My brand of Funk was accepted and enjoyed worldwide and I became well known for my hard hitting grooves and funky-azz bass lines, along with memorable lead and background vocals all performed by me.
