Where “Down For the Count” was considered a full-on pop punk record, “Adversity” displays the band doing a complete 180 in terms of musical style. The songs are all one of a kind and with more heart, more effort and more musical talent than ever before. The entire band has stepped up their game, bringing exceptional and heavier instrumentals and more meaningful and personal lyrics that are told through powerful melodies accompanied by gritty backing vocals. The entire record consists of all natural recording, meaning no plug-ins for any of the tracks. Cross Check is eager to share their masterpiece with the rest of the world and hopes that there will be even greater works in their future.
