The second release on Sensing Waves comes from Calmpound out of Nelson, BC. Wen Im Alone was a part of a number of other tracks made using heavy repetition and layering of field recordings as a form of hypnosis. The song is essentially an 8 minute live take performed into a piece of recording hardware. It brings the outside world and the natural music captured with portable recording units and studio sessions. Calmpound acknowledges every individual's unique sense memory, and his vision was to allow the creation of a unique world through imagination and interpretation of those sounds.
