Song For You: This is a song for you.. Wrote it about a year ago to the day. I wanted something hard rocking and this is what I came up with. Hope you all like it! Fay’s Song: A beautiful girl I know said “I think your kinda crazy”, to a drunken friend of mine one night at a bar called the Townhouse. This happened around 15 years ago. The line stuck, so I wrote this song around that line. Finally finished the tune about 1 Year ago. Cheers Eric and Fay! Emporium: When I was just young, I’d sneak into this weird little store in Sudbury, Ontario. It was owned by a Chinese couple, and they sold all sorts of crazy things. I always had a feeling that I was doing something bad when I entered into the store. There were gag gifts, such as mugs, weird drug paraphernalia, swords, knives, ornaments. Not a whole lot to do with the song, but it captured the spirit of this dangerous place. Hat’s off to Joey Fiorino for the Awesome Drumming! Little Adrian: A little song about an explorer that gets lost on Earth.. Cadillac: A nice Break-up song. Lyrics are kind of dark. I had Sudbury musician and step-brother come in to help me with the Chorus’s. Candy: A girl named Candy at a record store. She liked the Ramones.. Coming Down: Not a whole lot to say about this one except it was written about 2 years ago. Different headspace.. Connecting The Stars: Paul from the Townhouse told me that my old band was like the story of Brian Wilson and the Beachboys. He was referring to the story of when Brian filled his studio with Beach Sand and tried to make the happiest sounding album in history.. This song might have come from that idea, although not really. I found the harmonies were quite pleasing.. Whatever! Royal Tea: Wrote the lyrics for this many, many moons ago. Prince Charles and Lady Diana came to Sudbury in the early 90’s. The idea stemmed from a “what if I met Prince Charles at the Townhouse angle” Royal Tea, nicely transformed into Royalty. The Right Ground: Very loosely based on the travels of my Uncle Doug..
