Michael Ashe is a singer songwriter based in Seattle, Washington who's been writing and performing for years. First playing punk rock music in a garage band and performing around the Northwest during the 1990's.

His music and writing-focus shifted from rock to his acoustic guitar leveraging the personal and story-telling lyrical qualities of artists like Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Steve Earl. Michael often uses simple melody as the meter to craft his songs, and largely draws from his own personal experiences and observations of the human condition to deliver emotional tales of heartbreak, love, loneliness as well as songs laced with satire. Autumn Road represents Michael's first release as a solo artist. Recorded and produced in Seattle at Empty Sea Records with Michael Connolly, this effort is an independent grassroots release filled with personal reflection and emotion.
