Borboleta and the Butterflies Borboleta is simply a singer songwriter and poet putting her mind, heart and soul to some basic guitar chords to create songs from the heart as well as writing poetry. Her recent CD ‘Only the Butterflies are free’ contains songs produced by various producers. Borboleta is donating the proceeds of the sale of this CD to the Lotus Community Project which aims to build an Ashram to welcome and benefit people from all walks of life, faiths and philosophies. Borboleta performs live in Bournemouth at the Cellar Bar, The Bournemouth Folk Club, at the Poet’s Republic and other venues. In addition to music Borboleta is a Reiki Master and is currently doing a degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Southampton University. Her dream is to share her music and touch hearts whilst contributing towards worthy causes. The Butterflies are an alternative music experience led by singer songwriter Borboleta. Borboleta embraces the free nature of musicians and artists and invites kindred spirits who connect with her music to join her for recording and live work collaborations. This fluid approach allows the creative energy to flow freely with no demands or expectations and magic tends to happen when we set ourselves free allowing the universe to orchestrate its phenomenon.
