简介
Stephen Harrison was born in London in 1959 but has lived in Scotland since 1978. 'Today Tomorrow' is his sixth solo album and sees him developing his songwriting in a new direction away from electric guitar orientated work and towards acoustic guitar orientated song writing. All the songs were written and recorded by Stephen Harrison during 2011. The arrangements are often sparse, and several songs are just voice and one guitar only. Other songs have a second guitar, bass and strings to augment the arrangements. The guitar playing is almost all 'fingerpicking' in style. The feel of the album is uncluttered and quite mellow but emotionally intense. The lyrics alternate between the personal and the universal and are delivered with clarity and sincerity.
