简介
"As a kid, my dad would always bring home broken electronic shit cause he’s a class A hoarder, and what was educational about it was we would take it apart and I’d learn as I look at it and look at all the parts inside and try to put it back together, which I think was invaluable. We’d take apart a DVD player or a toaster or anything, you know we always had old ass computers and stuff that were strewing about in ruins. You know it could probably be considered a disorder, but I feel like that relates to my music in that if I get a piece of gear, I’m not ever really happy with it, I’m not ever really happy with it until I fuck with it somehow, you know? Until I fuck it up in some way." "Really the diversity the City is what I missed the most and what I liked the best about it. It’s just so great to walk down the street and see all kinds of people all doing random crazy things and it just really reminded me that nothing is really weird and nothing is really normal, you know, it’s comforting. It solidified that fact is stranger than fiction for sure. Living among diversity and the infinite amount of complexity that a diverse population has, just walking down the street and seeing some weird shit is just surreal and that’s what I live for because I love that."
