This song was written by Michael Damsa and Taploe Johnson. Michael Damsa is a singer, songwriter, programmer and lyricist (who sees himself more as a songwriter, what a waste!!). Taploe Johnson is probably one of the best unknown lyricists out there, with projects going on all around the world. 'Song for London' was written a few years ago for the London Olympics. At that time, there were loads of competitions out there asking for writers to submit material that could be used. Funny enough, nothing has been heard since. If any of you guys have (and for the record, 'guys' covers the female species too), please let us know. The song was actually sent it to Boris Johnson's office but to no avail. So we thought we'd try here. Its never too late. In the last three months, this song alone, has received internet airplay on songwriterradio.org. It was played for 1 week in June and at least 2 times per day, every single day in the month of July. However, with or without the Olympics, London will always be here. That says something. It's nice to know there are people out there that enjoy it. I hope you enjoy it too.
