Pete Cummins is a songwriter and singer from Ireland who is mostly known for his work with his band The Fleadh Cowboys, but also has recorded with Nanci Griffith, Townes Van Zandt, and The Chieftains among others. This is his first solo outing but he is backed by exceptional long time Fleadh Cowboys musicians, Tommy Moore on Bass and vocals, Ger Kiely on guitar, Lap steel and Mando guitar.

Ed Deane on guitar and Lap steel, Trevor Knight on Keyboards, and ex Nanci Griffith and Lucinda Williams drummer, Fran Breen, The Brass section is Carl Gerraghty on Saxophone and Mark Adams on Trumpet

These ten original songs along with a fantastic version of the Johnny Cash classic Train of Love, make for one of the best contemporary albums to come out of Ireland. One of the songs Flowers in Baghdad, has featured in Neil Young's WWW.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday chart for seven months
