Alexx Carnathan is 21 years old and began playing the piano at age 2-1/2 years old, composing her first song when she was 6. Alexx's musical interests include jazz, new age, pop, ragtime, and classical, which is reflected in her own compositions. Born with ‘perfect pitch’, Alexx is able to accurately identify the pitch of any note played simultaneously in any chord. About composing Alexx says, “I hear music in my head and I can just sit down and play whatever I hear. What I hear is what I am. Everything I think of fits my personality somehow - jazzy, mellow, soft, etc.”

In December of 2003, at the age of 12, Alexx recorded her first full-length CD, “Daydreams and Waterfalls” with thirteen of her own original compositions.
