Clive Gregson played lead guitar, fills, solos and sparks. He had three microphones pointed at his 1964 Epiphone Texan. He and I both love English rock and roll, cheap acoustic guitars and Denice Franke. I have a VHS concert of him with the Richard Thompson Bank playing an Antigua Fender Tele. How cool is that? Thanks Clive for being such a gentleman. You kept me in touch with my own musicianship. John Wilson was writing about Houston music long before the great Texas songwriters said they were from Austin.
