When we first started out in 2013, we didn’t have a concept to define ourselves. We didn’t even know which genres to delve into. Most of our jamming sessions were spent banging out never-ending post-rock buildups, attempts at Daft Punk, and arranging jazzy renditions of Christmas tunes. Over time, it became clear that we were truly inspired by the art of soundtracks. We fed our imaginations with ideas of depth and expanse, of spatial relativity. Similar interests in the fields of electronic production and ambient soundscaping gradually began to manifest in our sound. At the same time, we began to seriously consider the very nature of our artistic endeavours; the work of God that had brought us together to explore and express creation. This became our aspiration; a guideline for creative expression and direction. And here we are. Hopefully, this EP reflects the feelings and thoughts we’ve experienced over this journey. Enjoy. "Diffusing airy electronic ambient music quietly laced with a silvery voice, midst is a homegrown act made up of a young trio of 19 somethings – Rachel, Kin Leonn, and Jeremy. The band got together with nothing but dreams and some hope, as any band does; but unlike most, they've turned these dreams into an atmospheric reality.
