Sophia Dion is a 12-year-old singer/songwriter from the mountains of Utah. From the time Sophia first picked up her guitar 2 years ago she has played; Fender Lounge during the Sundance Film Festival, Mountain Town Music’s Deer Valley Concert series, and Park City’s Kimball Arts Festival. This hard work got her Invited to Nashville in March 2012 to play a benefit at 3rd and Lindsley. While there she was recognized by the town. Two Old Hippies and Bedell Guitars enjoyed her sound and style so much they Sponsored her and invited her back to perform in the summer. Sophia was eager for the opportunity and began to dream about her summer in Music City. The dream was realized when she got back to Nashville and played; Little Kids Rock Benefit where she was invited to sing with the Nashville Alternators, The NAMM Convention, Bedell Guitars booth and The Hard Rock Café. The Hard Rock Café performance was for First Place in a Madd Talent Artist Contest. Where she also received studio time with session musicians and a professional video that produced her first song, I just wanna sing.
