Sky in the Road is a folk rock band with 5 members. All are songwriters. Many pieces have 3 part harmony. Daniel Rhiger has been the major songwriter. He sings lead vocals, harmony vocals, plays Guitar and Irish Bouzouki. Rahmana Wiest sings lead and harmony vocals, plays harmonium and various percussion instruments, and has contributed a few songs to each of Sky in the Road's albums. Benjamin Rhiger sings, writes, plays upright bass, guitar and cajon with Sky in the Road, and is into some of the 80's music on Sky in the Road's playlist. Olivia Duffy sings, writes music, plays mandolin and fiddle, and picks wonderful French and Gypsy Jazz pieces for Sky in the Road. Molly Lehrkind plays Cello, and writes music, though Sky in the Road has yet to perform one of her pieces.
