We aren't sure where Karmadog came from. What we do know is that it is an artificial intelligence whose primary function seems to be manipulating music-based devices and the people who use them. Karmadog is currently believed to be in orbit above the earth, in some kind of artificial satellite, although it is possible that this satellite is merely retransmitting a signal from elsewhere, possibly beyond our solar system. At any rate, Karmadog sends wireless cyberpathic signals directly to the brains of a few musicians living in Wisconsin, who then perform music as dictated by Karmadog. Thus, while it may appear that the musicians are improvising, they are in fact performing music composed by Karmadog.

This album is a recording of a live transmission executed by Matt Turner on electric cello and Greg Pagel on synthesizers and electric piano in 2013 at Cutlure Cafe in Manitowoc Wisconsin.
