BIO T-West’s extraordinary vocal abilities were first noticed as a very young child, when she stunned her church congregation with strong soprano notes that would rival those of most veteran singers. She performed in several local venues and eventually joined a group as the lead singer. T-West was heavily influenced by such greats as Patti laBelle, Sade, Anita Baker, Angela Winbush, Stephanie Mills, Chaka Kahn, Luther Vandross, Prince, Michael Jackson, and Pillip Bailey. As a result, T-West has developed a unique and dominating style that integrates savvy lead vocals with limitless range, intriguing lyrics and dramatic harmoon ic hooks that manipulate her powerful, yet seamless trumpet-like voice. Focusing on her education, T-West sparingly performed throughout high school and college. With her bachelor’s degree in hand from Hampton University, she was able to make her music her top priority. T-West had her solo debut with the release of the maxi-single, COBB’S CREEK PARK/NO WAY. And now, her magnificently diverse 16 track CD, I WANNA SING FOR YOU, is complete and ready for release. T-West studied acting and modeling to further utilize her shapely 5’7”, 135lb. frame and striking features.
