During the late 80's and early 90's Blockhouse was an influential recording studio in East London, UK specialising in happy house, breakbeat and dark rave. Today Blockhouse is a recording project with original Blockhouse producer Jezz Wright and PressureM. Releases will be few and far between, concentrating on quality rather than quantity. Piano anthems, dark house, and the occasional breakbeat with a thumping kick. Accept no imitation for this is original. TrueBlockhouse. Discover us - again. Our first release is a cover of Ce Ce Rogers classic house tune Someday. Jezz co-produced Liquid's Sweet Harmony track back in the early nineties which sampled Ce Ce's Someday track.... but there's no samples here - original vocal by NikkiJ ensures this is a TRUE homage to the master of classic house music.
