The name OCEAN was an idea that came about in early 2005. This name was chosen because we want our music to be deep and widespread like the ocean. It Started with Tim Griggs (author of this album) and now five other members have been added: Drew Skarda, David Bise, Chance Buster, and Brett Rutherford. Recently OCEAN has taken on a new reputation due to our confidence and achievements. OCEAN has gone from a full band with a local reputation, to a 1 member act with little hype and a limited fan base, back to 5 member with drive and an irrefutable reputation as a solid, passionate band. The “new” OCEAN has only been playing since May ’06 but has so much drive and support that we’ve already filled some of the best venues in Little Rock and Dallas (The House of Blues) several times. We’ve recently made lots of good friends and our fan base is steadily growing. Keep an eye out for OCEAN and our new album coming out in summer 2008! it is going ot be brand new and full of energy!
