About the artist Jeroen de Rijk (7 February ‘62), is a free lance multi styles percussionist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He works in studios (± 300 CD's), live situations and as a clinician for Meinl Percussion Instruments and Cymbals. He is bandleader and co-producer for Cape Verdian star singer Suzanna Lubrano. Jeroen is co-initiator and vice-chairman of ‘Amsterdam World Jazz City 2014’, together with human rights Prof. Dr. Cees Hamelink. He owns a CD/DVD label and booking agency since 1998: ‘Baileo Music Productions Jeroen was chosen 'Best Percussionist of the Benelux' in '98, ’99, ’00, ’01, ’02, '03, '06, '07, ‘09 and again in 2012.
